Important

Work must not be undertaken by the contractor in an area of activity if no flagger and road sign are not present.

Delineation devices, barrier and barricades shall only be installed after all advance and approach signs have been set up and flaggers are ready.

Characteristics of a work area include:

- Type of roads (two lane / multilane)

- Roadside work

- Shoulder closure

- Partial lane closure

- Full lane closure

company to ensure that

these contractors apply the laws and regulations on the Road Signage of (DOT), by asking a traffic control company to be present on the road to maintain the safety and well-being of the workers and of their citizens.
